Mount Ulriken is the highest of the seven mountains that surround Bergen at an altitude of 643m above sea level. A cable car system is in operation to bring visitors to the top of the mountain, where there is a restaurant with an outside viewing area. Make use of the telescopes to pick out places of interest. The top of the mountain can be the start or end point of the popular Vidden Trail. Just follow the signposts for the trail towards Mount Fløyen. With its spectacular views, this should be high on the list of any tourist visiting Bergen.
